Need help....

I've had my 2012 LT for about 7 months now (2200 miles) and today I had my door open and lifted the hand brake and put it in park like I always do, but when I put it in park I noticed a weird cling sound coming from under the car (kim of like metal on metal grinding). So I did the same thing again about 4 times an it kept making that sound. Is that normal because I've never had the door open when I put it in park so I'm not sure of outside sounds of the car. Any help would be great!

I understand that this may be a frustrating issue to experience on a brand new 2012 Camaro. What the best thing to do is to take it to the dealership for diagnosis. It may be something that could be covered under the New Vehicle Limited Warranty. If you would like me to make an appointment at your involved dealership, let me know!

Happy Monday!
