Great find! Thats whats nice about living near the motor city every once in a while you spot a car (GM-Ford-Chrysler) going down an interstate with a manufacture's plate on it that is being tested and drove in real world conditions, i'll never forget seeing my first Gen5 Camaro on I-75 before they were for sale, i followed it 30 miles out of my way just to look at it from all sides, i knew that day i had to have one.

Chevy is putting out quality machines and there are a lot more satisfied customers than there are unhappy ones. Good luck with your future purchases

That would've been a GM employee in a test fleet car. Production doesn't start until August.

Definitely not a fake. This was taken right across the street from the GM Tech Center. Its a real ZL1

I think I see the tag on the lower driver's side corner of the windshield... it must be a CTF car.

Maybe he saw your front bumper and thought you were trying to be a zl1? Ive gotten bad comments on my ride because of the T3 bumper from SS douches.

Nope CTF car ZL1 verts get the Camaro vert spoiler

Correct the ZL1 verts do NOT get the ZL1 Coupe spoiler because of the radio antenna being built into the stock vert spoiler.

It's legit, look at the calipers. The convertible gets the standard convertible spoiler since the antenna is integrated into the design. It's just a CTF (captured test fleet) car.
