Amazing Insurance Deal.

Ok so in January I call my State Farm Agent and she tells me the car will be 850.00 every 6 months. I say ouch but will suck it up. Then in March when the car is built and I have the VIN I call her and now it has dropped to 560.00 every 6 months. Ahh much more like it.

So Friday I go in to get my insurance up and running and she tells me it is 371.50 every 6 months. I am like what? She says yep same coverage we carry on the other car. And it is 125.00 less every 6 months than my 2006 Honda Accord V-6. She says it has a note that the car fully complies with 2012 crash standards. She said that must be it.

I am not going to complian, works for me.

Our Camaro insurance was $100/yr cheaper than on our Malibu Maxx...I didn't complain.

I got State Farm also - $500/year for the V6. Got discounts on there too because we have our homeowners with them too, and I'm no spring chicken.

Wow $500/year! I still pay about $462 per 6 months for my 2004 Nissan Sentra Sedan. I also have State Farm, have no recent tickets or accidents and just turned 39. I wonder what the deal is? Maybe because I'm single and don't have my house ins. thru them? I wonder if it will drop with the new Camaro V6. Maybe I should check because I can't really afford car payments increase right now, but if I can get the payments within $50 or so and get an insurance decrease, I may be back in business...

Not so hot, only about 20. I am kind of sad about that.

The reason its so low is because there are literally ZERO claims for the cars. Just give it a year and youll see it up to sports car levels.
