anyone tried the BF Goodrich Gforce tires

looks like the Pzeros are finally giving out...i see on tirerack they are listing BF Goodrich gforce comp2 tires for our cars now. Has anyone tried these on a 2SS/RS? if so what are your thoughts. As far as I can tell the only difference is the speed rating (164 for them vs. 184 for the PZeros).

I had G Force on my Mustang. They were ok, but didn't last too long.

I have a set of the BFG on a daily driver and they are fantastic. Tons of dry and wet grip. I would highly recommend for the Camaro.

Tire Rack does not offer any forum discounts. Sorry. Orders do help to sponsor this forum and our pricing is very competitive.

Finally tried these Comp2 tires out at the Optima Face Off at Hot Rod Power Tour...I am quite disappointed with the grip of these tires versus Nitto NT-05's...as soon as I get back to So. Cal., these tires are coming off and being dumped for the NT-05's sitting in my shop.

They may be fine for normal driving, but the grip for hard cornering is pathetic...I can't believe how much BF Goodrich touted this tire to be as good as 200 treadwear tires, they are the 340 tw that they state on them. If you're looking for performance, stay away from the Comp2's.

I ran their KDW and G-force sports before on my previous cars. They both lasted to about 35k miles. As far as traction goes....they were ok. The tread design would lead you to believe that they are grippier than they really are. Also the side walls are super soft on these tires. They are good for normal driving but I have pushed the KDW and G-Force quite hard and they leave something to be desired. Regardless I'm in the market for new tires and was looking into the new Comp-2's. However, tire rack says that they are out of stock till July 17th so I bought another brand. They need to make them in bigger sizes, preferably 315/35/20.

I hear great stuff about the pilots I just couldn't afford them

I went with 9 275 p zeros on my fronts (9)
And Nitto nto5s 315s on my rears (11)

I shopped around and grabbed them lightly used money's tight so I had to get creative
