Not sure if it was mentioned or not yet as I didn't read the whole thread, but it would be nice if the passenger seat slid forward when you flipped it to put stuff/people in the back seat. It's a pain to move the seat forward then flip the back then have to slide it back for someone to sit in the front.

You do not need to have a 1965 Cadillac convertible to have rear seat and trunk room. '60's Mustangs, '69 Camaros, even little Ramblers all had plenty of space (altho Ramblers might not be so cool looking). I wouldn't brag about gas mileage either. My 7.5 liter 1976 Lincoln that gets called a gas pig averages 13 mpg, and my 2012 Camaro with 3.6 liter is getting 16.5 mpg. Not a substantial improvement for 35 years of technology and less than half the engine size and far less weight. I bought my Camaro not because of any specific love for Camaros. I bought it because unlike every other bland, boring 4 door or crossover that sells because of gas mileage, safety ratings, and financing options, the Camaro sells based on style and power like the great cars of the past used to. But that does not mean it should be totally exempted from being at least somewhat practical. Last edited by linc400; 05-30-2012 at 08:51 PM. |

![]() if i had to pick something i would say they need to have 3 inch exhaust factory. this thing sounds way to quiet for me. also i would love to be able to smash the gas and smoke the tires without dumping the clutch AKA more torque. i agree with most of the complaints like the thin paint, i paint cars for a living and when i repaint the stripes on the hood and deck lid the paint if defiantly thin. its the clear coat that is thin. this car is still a super awsome car and im sure alot of these problems will be solved |

I LOVE this car and wouldn't change much, but a few minor things.
1. The 1LT doesn't come with the garage door opener button. 2. The seat doesn't slide forward when you access the back. 3. The different size cup holders. 4. The super tiny vanity mirror. But those are very minor things. I may add the paint and cheap plastic to the list in the future, but I've only had the car 3 weeks, so it's not chipped or scuffed yet. |

Update website sooner.
Stop using the stupid allocations for preorders. First come first serve. Use allocations for cars after preorders are filled. |

I love my Camaro and I actually like the interior, but there's always room for improvement:
1. The clutch is incredably weak and stinks when you do any spirited driving. The clutch is what causes the all the 2nd gear grinding issues, it doesn't engage fast enough, which is also why 4k+ rpm shifts can be missed pretty often. 2. Ambient lighting across the dash. Why stop it in the doors? The Buick Lacross has it across the dash, why can't we? 3. Passenger seat that rolls foward in addition to folding forward for rear passenger entry. 4. I wish the windows were a little taller, drive up atms are a PITA

I'd like to use the key to unlock the door without the alarm going off. Not all the time of course but sometimes it might be handy to unlock the car without lighting up the whole street.

Go through your owners manual, I think you can customize your lock/unlock settings through the stereo.

Thanks for the heads up. I knew you could adjust lock and unlock features through the stereo but I'll check on this one.

Really? With the huge b-pillar in the way, what point could there possibly be in rolling down a 3 inch wide window?

I understand why it cant go down and why it works better the way it is. There are times I wished it could roll them down. Capturing more of the "old school" look, as the kids say.

Better paint
Power passenger seat 1 piece drive shaft Better shifter Better rear visibility Make it faster to disable the traction nannies (i.e., a switch) Make the gauges easier to read Larger visors Deeper console Backup camera Non integrated A/C-stereo Hand brake lever on driver's side Door lock button on door near window switch Despite all of that, I love my camaro. |

I just returned from my first long (2750 mile) road trip. The car performed exactly as anyone could hope for. 29 mpg over all, no observed oil consumption on the dip stick, great handling etc. However, my only complaint is the comfort of the drivers seat. I am 6'3" tall. Around town its ok but on longer trips my lower back lacks support. Even my GMC Canyon has a manual lumbar support adjustment. I guess most of you think the seats are great. Maybe it is because I am tall. I wonder if some of the other tall guys have issues with the seat comfort. I sat in a new Mustang just to check out the seats and they do have a lumbar support in a comparably priced car. Maybe its because our headrests angle foreward for some reason.

Remove the back seat and make it a roadster with more trunk space. I'm short (5' 5") and I still move the drivers seat all the way back. No one but a 3 years old dwarf can sit back there, lol!

If I could fix 1 thing it would have to be the rear end of the car. It feels like driving a pickup truck with how bad the visibility is. The rear window is almost pointless considering how small it is and how little you can actually see. The way the rear fenders bulge out took a while for me to get used to as well. It would have been nice if they had been cut down a little bit more.
Aside from that, it would be nice if the windows were taller. I'm sure GM could increase the window size if they made the doors a bit shorter by a few inches. It would also make sticking my elbow out the window a whole lot easier. Sometimes I wonder if Lamborghini owners feels the same way. Lol. |

The cheap brittle plastic they use to cover the bolt on the windshield wipers and the cheap brittle plastic they use for the license plate light fixtures.
I'm on about the 9th little cover for the bolt on the driver's side windshield wiper. I just did a work around for the poor quality license plate light fixtures. Chevy house wanted $65 for the fixtures with pigtail.... which is the only way to buy them. I did not purchase the low quality pkg.

Have the plastic trim light on dash light up like the door panels. We shouldn't have to do an aftermarket install on this.
