Can I make around 700 rwhp with a Maggie, JRE 470 rough idle blower cam stock block?

Will a Maggie make that power for me or should I go with a 2.9 Whipple?

i think the maggie might have a problem with belt slippage at that power, might want to look into a centrifical. the whipple should be able to do it

Not true. You can overdrive the rear and be fine. I made 650 on 10psi with that cam on a 3.2 and a 1:1 rear pulley. So with OD rear you can make 700+.

You can undoubtedly make 700 rwhp with the Maggie. You will need some specialized parts that Jannetty racing offers but 700 isn't a problem.

If they are equal down low how come a Maggie will make 650ft.lbs. at your RWHP # and yours make 570's?

Absolutely on Race Gas, but much easier with the Whipple and even easier with a Vortech or Paxton on Pump gas.

Give me a call I have the RECIPE.

I just re-read your title. It says stock block. That wouldn't be the best idea. With the Maggie you'll be at 15+ psi to reach your goal. Bad idea on the stock internals.

Hey Ted, you know this car. I purchased it from John Collins out of staten island about a month ago. It's now in south Florida. The car runs great! You did a great job! He did tell me to call you when I was ready for a supercharger. John was telling me your upgraded fuels system, and a Whipple we should see 670- 680 wheel is that right?

I have my dyno sheet that has both the maggie and whipple run on there and they are nearly identical on torque down low. I'm not saying anything bad about the maggie, I'm just telling what I know from my car and the dyno.

Thomas, how are you getting over 800 rwhp on an ls3 with a Maggie? I'd like to get my car to 800 rwhp but I do not see it as a possibility. Even with heads I'd be near 750 rwhp. The blower is maxed out now or damn near close. Thanks for any help/insight you can offer.

This is what I was going to say.

I'd LOVE to get there but can't afford to Forge my RA right now. And I think I might go a different direction and maybe so an LSX with my maggie at that point for some extra cash.

I guess. Not sure if anyone has done that.
