I think everything between the SS and base model are swapable in terms of suspension. Just to be safe, pm one of the guys at Apex (vendor here). They are the ones I go to for all my suspension stuff.

HPE usually stands for Hennessy. I think it's safe to say he has a SS/RS. So I would say yes it will fit.

Got it...thanks...but a Hennessy car would probably have suspension upgrades already, I would think...dunno...

It says HPE700 and RS, so I'm assuming he has both. Could be a bad guess on my part, but I figured he was upgrading the suspension on the Hennessy and wanted to use the parts on the RS.

.....but, if he already has an SS, why would he want to add SS suspension?

Yeah, a little confusing...RS packages don't affect the suspension...Sounds like he has two cars an ss/rs and a lt/rs???

Yes, i have a hennessey HPE700 camaro and a RS camaro.

I ordered 22" wheels for the RS and i'm going to order a suspension kit from KW but they don't know if the kit they're selling for the SS fits on the RS.

Dude, your model is not an RS, It's a V6 or an SS. If a company is telling you they don't know if their suspension kit fits an RS package, they are totally stupid and I would avoid buying from them!

RS is an appearance package and has close to nothing to do with performance, suspension, etc. and can been seen on both models (V6 or SS)

To answer your questions:
  • 2010-2011 V8 Suspension bits... shocks, sway bars, control arms, bushings will bolt up to the V6 cars. They aren't huge upgrades but they will work. If you own a V6 and are taking the time to upgrade parts anyway, upgrading to aftermarket parts will offer much bigger improvements in handling than the OEM V8 pieces on a V6.
  • 2010-current V6 shocks have a different droop travel length than the V8 shocks do. If you're purchasing drop springs verify with the spring manufacturer that they will work for the V6. All springs should work with the V8's. We offer spring packages for both V6 and V8 cars.
  • 2012+ cars have revised rear lower control arms to take advantage of the new 2012+ V8 sway bars. All previous 2010-2011 aftermarket parts WILL work on the 2012 cars since the control arms have provisions to bolt up either in inboard or outboard style sway bars. 2012+ Sway bars and endlinks WILL NOT bolt up to 2010-2011 cars without replacing the rear lower control arms, the replacement arms are actually pretty inexpensive from GM.
  • Fitment for coilovers is the same across all years and models, with the potential exception of some external canister coilover packages on 2012 cars. The revised control arms may cause an interference where the canister is mounted. If you own a 2012 Camaro and want to use a coilover system with an external canister, verify with your coilover manufacturer that they will work.

That's pretty much it! Unless you own a 2012 Camaro coilovers should be no problem. Keep in mind that there are a lot of other upgrades that will absolutely change the attitude of your Camaro as well!

I would be more worried that KW doesn't know if their CO's will fit your car.
