Sluggish start up at random times? Anyone has had this done to them?

Symptom:

When I start the car up, it seems like the car doesn't want to automatically start up. More like a sluggish start up then finally the car starts and all is well. This does not happen all the time, but happens enough to catch my attention when it does happen. This has happened in both of the Camaros I have owned, a 2011 and 2010.

Has anyone have had this happened with theirs?

I apologize for your concern you are having. The best thing to do is to take it to your local dealership for service and have them run some diagnostics on your Camaro. They will also be able to check your VIN for any applicable warranties. If you have additional questions, please feel free to contact me via PM.

My 2012 SS will do that from time to time. I find that if you turn the key "on" and let the fuel pump run for a few seconds before starting the engine seems to prevent it from happening.

It's caused by fuel pressure bleed down. Must have a weak check-valve in it. Pump needs replaced.
