Car BRA

I have never used a Bra for any of my cars but am considering one for my new 45th Anniversity Convt.
Will some of you please share the pros and cons along with a brand/s to check out?
Thanks

Keeps the rock chips and bug damage to a minimum. They also trap dirt under them which will lead to scratches. If you use one keeping it waxed will help and take it off and clean often. Have seen some people that put one on and leave it for months, not a good idea. Good luck, not sure what brands are out there now. I have a Cover Craft for my 93 Z.

If you get a leather bra.... You will be faced with endless ugly looks and ridicule in traffic, car shows, and parking lots. And I will be one of those people... Fair warning.

For the love of god..... DONT DO IT. Clear bra or nothing.

These cars dont really have any metal parts that are crazy prone to rock chips, the bumper pretty much covers the whole front plane. The plastic holds up to rocks much better. Unless you cover the whole hood, you are still going to get chips. Dont do any leather thing, theyare ugly and sooo 80's

I saw a few Camaro's at the Texas Camaro meet and thought that one would help when we go on trips, but also don't want scratches from dirt taking it on and off. My Camaro is black and clear bra on black doesn't look right. I did put clear bra on my side mirrors and that came out pretty good.

Autoanything.com has Colgan and Lebra, the reviews on Lebra say they don't fit really tight and the Colgan had good reviews at 150.00

I have a clear bra on the front facia, the mirrors, and the gills on either side on my black 2011Vert.

The ONLY place you can tell it has clear bra on, is the top edge of it above the gills, and that's only because there is no convient body seam to end it at.

I've been considering the Colgan bra as well for when I travel to Houston. Not for chips because you will get them anyways but because it gets full of bugs and well no one washes my car like I would so there is no place to get my car cleaned when i get there. I've seen clear bra's at meets that I've been to and well to put it nicely and like Kenye West says.. that $#I^ crack. It wouldn't look pleasant at all for my car. Since I only want it for my travels to Houston I think the colgan bra is my best bet. I want the Carbon Fiber Embossed Vinyl one which they sell for 175 with the license plate opening.

The Colgan bra works well for trips. Keeps the big bugs and debris off the nose. I recommend Carbras.com. They usually stock the Colgan Custom brand, they fit like a glove and look great. Check it out, here's mine, i went with the non plate bra and moved my plate lower, the style with the plate should fit well too.
