Stonebriar Chevrolet

Has anyone order from StoneBriar Cheverolet in Frisco? I think they are jacking with me, I would like to know if anyone has had any luck getting any information from them.

If you do not feel comfortable, go to Ray Huffines in Plano. The sales manager (Jay), is a member here, and I believe may still have allocations left. Jay???? He will keep you posted on the progress, and treat you well.

I was going to order initially from them as they stated MSRP .. They then sent me an email that they couldn't do MSRP but it would be current market price ...

I went to Classic after that ..

Ditto! Just say NO to Stonebriar and YES to Reliable. Ask for Brian Prosser.

Just did a search on Stonebriar on the forum. Both DFWSS and BabyJulie were originally told MSRP and then later on were told Market Value Added which is anywhere from 1000 - 5000 over sticker. Save your money go to either Huffines or Classic if you order in the Dallas area.

I went to Stonebriar a little over a month ago to order, however, they treated me as if I was a stupid girl. Little did they know I was ready to order that day, and I ended up ordering someplace else. Good Luck!

I got jacked around by Stonebriar as well. Same story. Put my deposit down for MSRP, 3 days later got the call that they changed to Market Price ($1,500 - $3,000+). Switched to Classic that day as 64/67. Thankfully, I've moved down to 53 at Classic. If the jack@sses as Stonebriar wouldn't have wasted my time, I might be taking delivery around this time of the year. Although they are less than a half of a mile from me, I wouldn't take my Camaro there (or any car) even it was broken down in their parking lot. I hope they are on the closure list.

I hope they are on the closure list as well. I just hope I get my Camaro before than. I order back in October and my Car still has yet to go into production. Becasue I told them I was not going to pay anything over MSRP.

Hi. I don't know anyone else who has ordered from Stonebriar that has had an actual delivery...it would be interesting to know if such a person received their car at a significant markup. It really is a shame you do not have an agreement in writing that MSRP is what you will pay; unfortunately, they will probably still try to get you to pay markup even though you say you will not. They are probably relying on the fact that many will want their Camaro so bad that they will pay more than sticker.

I'm not sure what you should do. Have you tried to pin-down your salesmen on a price? Does he just reply that you'll worry about that at delivery? I'm not trying to scare you but several on this forum immediately cancelled their order and went elsewhere because Stonebriar was being vague about their 'market pricing'.

Hello,
I ordered from Stonebriar Chevrolet in Frisco on June 13, 2009. Here is what they told me: $500.00 nonrefundable deposit. They have an allocation for one order per week (Thursday). People who want to go to the top of their order list can pay over MSRP and people who pay MSRP will have to wait their turn until all the Big Spenders have had their orders filled. So, if I'm next in line for my order to go in and a big Moneybags comes in on Wednesday, then my order gets bumped back. Since I'm not a Moneybags, I went with the MSRP-Waiting-Game option. About three weeks ago my MSRP order went in, and about a week ago we were told we are at 3300 with a production date of 9/21/09. This seems ok to me because I can wait, and I can't really blame Stonebriar for getting more money for the car if people are willing to pay it. But of course, I haven't gotten the car yet, so we will see how it all ends up. I will let you know!

Oh, BTW, I have the window sticker that our salesman gave us on 6/13 right in front of me. So here is what I am hoping/expecting to pay: (we found out about the back-up sensors about 3 weeks ago, but I'm ok with that. I don't want to hit anyone!)
2010 Camaro 2SS MSRP 33,430.00
Sunroof 900.00
RS Package 1,200.00
Destination Charge 795.00
Charge for Back-up Sensors 295.00
I estmate TTL 2,400.00
Total 39,020.00

So I'll keep my fingers crossed! That's Imperial Blue Metallic, Black leather, BTW.

P.S. Would be interesting to hear from others if your experience with Stonebriar since June '09 is the same, different, better, worse. I'd especially like to hear a positive, since that's what I'm hoping for!
