Totally scientifically explainable... that high up in the air, currents are less influenced, so the downforce created will be far more consistent than any low placed spoiler that has to suffer from disruptions from the car in front of it..

Makes sense, no?

I have to agree, those generation of GM rear drive coupes are quickly growing on me. I loved the I think 73 Buick that the guys on Musclecar on Spike souped up with that killer 2 tone orange/black paint job.
