Maunaul to Automatic

I purchased a 2014 2SS with a manual transmission because I wanted to avoid the L99 motor like I had in my 2011 that had to have lifters replaced. I miss my automatic and wondering if anyone has swapped or knows anyone that did. Is this doable?

Thanks! David M

Buy an auto and do the l99 to ls3 conversion. Easier that way.

You can do a 4l80 no problem. Not sure about the 6L. If you have enough money anything can be done.

OP what are your overall goals for the car? Drag, track, autocross?

Auto's built and tuned right will make a much better drag platform while a manual seems to fare better on a track.

An L99 to LS3 conversion to the engine would have been a much cheaper option. Converting a manual to an auto is probably going to cost $$$$.

Guys -

I know many of us have done this and used the great post from Diet Coke, I am one of them. Sadly that thread is running light and have a 101 question here that I thought I knew the answer to.

I struggled to get VSS working thru the PCM and finally got it nailed by using a Dakota Digital GPS-50-1 and tweaked it to provide VSS for my logging, speedo, HUD, and all tapped to Pin-71 on the PCM.

I am gonna now apply over to the Cruise Control side of the PCM and the DD box has provisions for this as well - but for the life of my can't find the pin and know it's on the X1 or X2 module - have the schematics - but never figured I would actually get this cranking and surprisingly I have.

Any help here is appreciated.... For some reason Pin-57 rings in my head but if anyone can help it would be appreciated.

Thx

It can be done, I had ADM do it for me to my old 2010 SS when I lost my left leg in a motorcycle accident. I went 6 speed manual to a 6L80.
