THE V-8 QUESTION,,,,AGAIN!!!!
This is what i drive on weekends if i want to drive a v-8.........I wish the v-8 v-6 owners could just agree that they have the best Car on the planet and leave it at that......

Agreed, I love my V6. I took the opportunity to drive a friends 2SS mt last night and enjoyed the extra power. The clutch play wasn't bad at all. Hit 5th gear instead of 3rd a few times, just need to get more familiar with the feel of the gear shift. You can't go wrong with either engine. Loved the pull of the extra torque, not gonna lie. I won't be trading up anytime soon though. I think I would get a speeding ticket with the 8!

Wow! Nice Chevelle. Believe it or not i want one like your '66 its my next "going to get car" on my list, i just about bought one instead of my Camaro when i was looking at muscle cars to buy. I want a red, black or a blue one. They are sexy!

I dont know earl........whats the purpose in any of these threads....I just cant understand why someone with a v-8 camaro would down grade another mans camaro with a v-6......Earl if you read camaro forums you would know that this topic is so intence that admin had to remove some of or all threads related to this question.... I have both, a v-6 v-8 and i like both cars,,,each have their pros and cons.....we all need to leave the V-8 vs V-6 topic to rest and enjoy the fact that we have one of the hottest cars on the planet.....I can understand the Camaro vs mustang thing ,,they are two different cars, but for camaro owners to waste time debating v-6 or v-8 to the point of inappropriate responces on camaro 5 is just dumb! its like watching a dog eat its young....

Here is my 1965 Impala SS 396. I have owned this car since 1984, painted in 1985. I am currently on deployment overseas and I am going to start restoring it when I get back home, can't wait !!! (and my wife game me authorization to do it right)
