Vararam plus a diablo tuner?

If I were to do these mods how much extra RWHP could I expect?

If you are going to void the power train warranty, at least do intake, pulley, tune, hx. That would get you around 80 to 100 hp.

Long tube headers most big for the buck with tune.

Will just a vararam void the warranty or is it the tune that does it?

Vararam doesn't fit the ZL1...

Did you mean to post in a different subforum ???

That is very debatable on the CTS V forums. Once tuner did headers only and said they were worth 8 RWHP with the stock tune. The biggest restriction is the first CAT, not the manifolds. Plus headers plus install is around $2K.

Most do hi flow cats with headers.

most tuners say on lsa cars longtubes will will lose 1-2 lbs of boost. So you only net a few HP unless you put different pulley's on the car.

I have been reading on this as I would love to add them but if you just add longtubes and then tune sometimes the results are disapointing.

Unless thats the only mod you plan on doing yes they are pointless for the price. Add a tune, bolt ons, a pulley swap and youll be happy you did, you wont see much of a change going to high flow cats on the dyno, more then likely you will see a large MPH change at the track.

When i had a Maggie 112 on my GTO i was stuck running 11.7 @ 114.XX, gutted the cats and ran a test pipe, showed no increase in power on the dyno, but ran 11.4x @ 118.XX.
