Counting Camaros Gen 5

When you go on road trips do you ever count how many Gen 5's you see on the interstate? My wife and I do that when we go on long trips, it makes it a fun game.

5th gens are now everywhere in my area. I can see 5+ on my 15 mile trip to work.
Heck, I usually can't get out of the neighborhood without seeing at least 1 or 2.

We don't count them but we always point them out to each other when we see them, but not only 5th gens but all Camaros. We love them no matter what generation.

Funny you mention this. I was doing this on my road trip yesterday. Only we counted all 3 pony cars. I gave up eventually but the count was: 5 Camaros, 7 Challengers, and 12 Mustangs all newer gens.

So yesterday I drove over 400 miles and I only saw one in Nebraska. Kinda dissapointed that I didn't more. I guess everyone is at the lake.

Typically on longer road trips I would see more than just driving around in my town. There aren't very many in my town.

I didn't count them, but before I got mine, I would point out every one I saw. Only had mine 3 weeks, but did take it on a 1000 mile road trip a couple weeks ago and didn't see a single C5 until I got almost back home, and it was just sitting in a gas station. So I still feel semi-special. Nothing worse than feeling like one of the sheep, just following in a flock.

The next trip, Colorado mid June 3000+ miles round trip, I'm going to keep a count.

I just took 2 trips from columbus to lakeland florida, one in my camaro and the other in a uhaul. Each were a 1,100 mile trip. I saw at least 40 camaros each time. And, a ZL1 in georgia. It was great seeing all of the camaros. Most were stock but some were modded.

My family and I play a guessing game. We each pick how many Camaro's, Mustangs, & Challengers we think we will see during our drive. We do this for every ride that is going to be an hour or more.

I dont know what was going on yesterday, but I saw 6 on the way home. A 35 mile drive and only usually see one or two. Must have been vacationers on the way to I 40 from Myrtle Beach....

It seems like the further South you go the more you see. I only saw 2 on my 200 mile trip to Boston Saturday, but
in the Annapolis/DC area they are everywhere. I see them in Florida every few minutes- On the way from Miami to Key West last month it was unbelivable- A lot of convertible rentals I assume.

As many camaros that have been produced, you would think there would be more on the road. But these cars aren't for everyone, price, insurance, car payments and you can't get more that 2 car seats in the back of them either. Camaro drivers are a specific breed of people
