I am aware that it is not a Camaro 5 Gen. I am a supporter of all Camaros not just the 5th. If it was not for the 1st there would be no 5th.

About a year ago, we had 6 or 7 5th gens head over. Plenty of corvettes and other muscle cars go as well. Of my car wasn't in pieces I'd be there for sure! Have fun if youre going!!

August is the only one you can't bring anything contemporary; March, June & Nov are ok.

Enter on Rose ave. You can pay 45 on Sat and be good for Sat/Sun. this will cover two addmissions.

Park your ride on the grass and head to reg bldg to get your goodie bag.

I'm planning on running the AM events on Saturday and Sunday. Goodsguys auto-x is a very small course with no room for erorrs. They only let around 30 to 40 cars run each event so get there early if you want to run.

Yea I really did like the Challenger,my brother has a 340 '71 challenger TA, the Blue Mustang was super fast and the 2nd generation Camaros were cool. That was the First time I have seen early model muscle cars at an autocross, very cool.Your car corners very well, what suspension do you have?

My suspension is a hodgepodge of different vendors...

BMR subframe connectors
BMR drive shaft safety loop
BMR rear differential bushings
BMR rear subframe cradle bushings
Spohn rear toe rods
Spohn rear trailing arms
Spohn front and rear sway bars
Phadt Adjustable coil-overs all around
Hotchkis front strut tower brace

The blue mustang driven by Mike M won the pro class with Mary Pozzi taking a very close second place. Don't know the results for the rest other than Brian H taking first in his pro second generation orange Camaro.

I posted some videos from this weekend's Auto-X at Goodguys. Search "kavros camaro" on youtube and look for the latest videos. My HD camera died so the latter videos are non-HD.

Thanks, sorry we missed each other. I was riding along in other cars, had a few fun rides in the convertible Grand Ville, big Town Car and Z06 Corvettes. I will be running the Oakland SCCA event this Saturday morning.

Final Results from last week's event. Camaro's were well represented, we need to get more third, fourth and fifth generation ones out there. It's sad that my car and an HHR were the newest one out there! The cone marks rub out folks.

Great video, I'm around the 14 minute mark. Notice my magic cone trick on my second lap.

I got that
PRO = Professional
TRK= Truck
but what Is FUN is it really fun what kind of class is fun they all look fun and what is SM?
Why cant trucks be PRO?
What are the PRO's at the bottom of the list and why is there 0 for several of them?

And why is the sky blue?

Ok,here we go.

The pros are the most completive drivers, it's not like they get paid to do it. Most our sponsored or vendor cars. SM stands for Street Machine which is anything other than a truck or a pre 50's car. The pros listed at the bottom is the ranking, the ones with 0's don't have any points yet. The fastest truck, the C10 in this case will be moved to the pro category next event along with Brian H who is runs fast times. Fun is for the people that only competed one day, the rest of is competed two days or ran racing tires.

As far as the sky being blue, please refer to the following link. http://www.sciencemadesimple.com/sky_blue.html
