For those of us that work with people in Marketing, I can say without reservation that Marketing IS a frivolous job type.

That from the perspective of someone who actually helps program the product and make sure it works, where sales & marketing people usually give the wrong information in order to get a sale. They don't always tell the customer what the customer needs to know in order to get a sale. Seriously, Marketing isn't frivolous?????

Lately I've been playing around more with turning all the nannies off... I kept my old tires and plan on entering the next burnout contest once I find a set of rear wheels to throw them on

So many comments on this thread priceless, funny. But OP had the correct response to just roll up his window and ignore the crazy. Try to be the better person and don't lower yourself to the standards of a crazy person. One crazy person on the road can be frustrasting, two crazy people on the road can be dangerous.

For a moment she acted like she was going to throw a bottle of soda at me but i guess she decided against it. I let it go but the whole situation was frustrating.
Don't let this get you down! She prob lost her marbles a long time ago or is just jealous that you drive a nice Camaro.
However, if the same woman were to do that to me, I would just flip her off, haha. I would then tell her to invest in an eco-friendly car if she's so worried about the environment.

I don't understand why those so concerned with the "health" of the planet have to critcize everyone else.

The best thing they could do is immediately blow their own brains out, and remove their "carbon foot-print" completely. This would prove they are serious and help much more than telling other people what to do.

Proper repsonse:

Depress clutch (or put in neutral if driving an auto). Depress throttle. Let engine rev loud enough so you don't hear her complaints. Problem solved.

This is about where I would have regressed to age 16, told her to bl*w me, and laid about 200.00 worth of pirelli dust on her import econobox that barely gets better mileage than my V8.

Idiot.

*edit*

I have to add. That generally speaking, I'm nice to people almost to a fault. People like this who are so willing to make a verbal attack on a total stranger send me in the complete opposite direction. Can't stand this kind of thing. Sorry ya ha to experience that OP. Just brush it off. You did the right thing!

That would ruin my day...getting flipped off by Napoleon Dynamite. He's not even brave enough to face the vehicle he's giving the bird to. Plus he's an idiot. He's supposed to flip off H2s, that's an H3.

Ahhh... are the H3's any better? :P Not a fan of the new Hummer's, but to each their own I say. I would never flip one off, because I could give a rats ass. I just know I would never drive one.

I prefer the H1 over anything else, and the H2's are pretty nice. H3's look a little weak to be carrying the Hummer name IMO.

Yeah, the fires we have in Arizona put out more pollution than all the cars in the world. And they are the result of the enviro wackos refusing to let the forest be cleaned. idiots.

I had an argument with a guy the other night at one of my friends house over gas mileage... I had just got my headers on and was showing them off to my friends and this guy, who I barely even know, starts coming up talking about how "behind in technology" American cars are because his turbo Honda gets over 30mpg... I let it go on for about 5 minutes, then asked him... so you want to line them up? well, no, his car still isn't getting enough fuel... but kept on about how far behind GM is in gas mileage... once again, I stopped him and said "wasn't Hondas last true sports car the S2000"... he said, yeah... I then said and "have you ever compared its gas mileage to a C6 Vette of the same era? because the Vette actually gets around the same mpg, while being over a second faster through the 1/4 and while making more torque idling than the S2000 does at peak"....

I know these cars don't get but high teens at best, but really... I don't care, I have a work car, this is my play car... I drive it on weekends, if I wanted gas mileage, i'd bought a Cruze
