If it is painted expect 4-6 weeks but bare metal throttle bodies are in stock and ready to ship. There is an option to add a prepaid label and the box we send can be reused. You will not get a CEL with a ported throttle body upgrade unless you have a "weak" MAF.

Is there a way to tell which MAF you have with the part number? I wrote down a bunch of numbers off mine when I installed my CAI and I want to be sure I have a strong one. I'm away from my car currently that's why I ask instead of just being able to pull it again and check.

No, the only reliable method is the one described in the opening post.

You do not need to do anything except install it. It will do its thing from there. If you ever have questions the best bet is to PM me directly.

Thanks for this post! My cel lit up a few days ago and I drove my 2SS to the nearest dealership that I could find. The MAF was the reason for the CEL and the dealer replaced it under warranty. I was wondering why it failed and now it is clearer to me.

Does GM realize that weak MAF sensors are causing under performance? and why do they use two sensors (strong and weak) ??
