Need some advice

Not sure if this is in the right area but anyways. Last year i ordered side marker and tail light tints from RPI Designs and love them. I havent had a problem with them at all but im beginning to notice a year later a bunch of algae looking build up forming behind the tint itself. My guess is after it rains or when i wash the car the water that gets behind the acrylic side markers doesnt dry and from sitting in the sun the water just starts growing algae. I now have a pretty good amount of this gunk on all 4 and is becoming an eye sore. Im not really sure how to go about cleaning these without ripping them off which i want to avoid. Any advice would be great
