Anybody have this bad feeling next year's camaro will have more options

I know everybody wants this car bad and now. But does anybody have this feeling that next year the car will have added items like T-TOPS Z28 a bigger motor possibly. And maybe tweaked a few items that are kind of weird on it. I ordered mine but i just have this feeling come next year I wish I would have held off.

Some what

I think there will be a lot of changes, or upgrades, so I will have to order another one then, so I have two.

There will never be T-tops offered on this car or any car by any manufacturer in the near future.

A bigger engine.....no....a supercharged engine....possibly.

T tops will not happen in this car for many reasons, not the least being market research showed that very few people wanted them

maybe but I think T-Tops would have been huge or whatver you call it that goes on the vette just the big peice that comes off. I think you might see a charger, but that will push the car to over 40k and might sell but in mass, due to the close to 50k out the door your going to have on it. Its just like the new Mustang Shelby GT500 base 48k, nobodys buying, if your going to get into that price range my as well get a vette or viper.

Yeah about that...........the state that GM is in right now, who knows if this car will be produced in the near future let alone make upgrades like t-tops never going to happen and I'm for one am glad there never bringing it back and a Z-28 they need to get out of the crisis first before that happens, might become collectors items so I would get them now. Just my two pennies

Although I am worried about this, I feel if you costantly upgrade what you have it'll always be up to date. Especially if you get the 2SS fully loaded. There shouldn't be any major updates that you can't do to your 2010 is all Im saying.

getting the 2SS doesnt give you anything important look wise or performance that the 1SS has, so i dont think thats viable, and actually makes more electric problems 10 years down the road. Overall though I think for the first year they did a good job

I don't think all that much will change. I thought (back in 2005) that I would wait to buy a mustang till the interior got better and they beefed up it's v6. That never happened and the car stayed relatively the same till it's next model gen (2010) What did I learn from that exercise? Buy what you want now. (specially if your over 40 like me..)

There will always be enhancements, if there wasn't no one would have a desire to buy new. I think interior things will come, a z/28, not likely, t-tops, no way. My guess is obviously-
Convertable
navi/touch screen stereo
hud
White paint
-Outside the car
maybe different colored badging

but this is only what is going on in my head. who knows what will happen. If the car and the economy take off in the next year maybe we will see another engine, force fed is most likely, or N/A LS7

My car is exactly they way I want it. No biggie at all. This used to bother me all the time about a new car, but not anymore. I have the one that satisfies my every desire. It is a great feeling.

With the government in control? and bankrupcy on June 1st.. I think you guys who have a 2010 camaro SS will have the strongest performing camaro for quite a few years..

GM has recently cancelled the HHR SS, Impala SS, cobalt SS coupe and sedan, as well as the Solstice GXP and sky redline..

lets add in the demise of the G8 GXP and you'll see GM's performance lineup stand as

The camaro SS
The corvette
Z06
ZR1
CTS V

Thats it and nothing more..

Sure many times people say don't buy the first year of any vehicle...but if it were me? I'd rather have a 2010 Camaro SS sooner rather than later..

My first year 2008 CTS AWD FE2 304hp vehicle has been totally problem FREE..

Buy now and don't wait.

it won't be getting any better for quite a few years..

JMO considering the economic situation.

JB

Well I don't think much will change look wise for the next several years. Like it has been stated, they might add a supercharger to the engine but I don't see them doing much else performance wise. But as for options, there are a couple I could see them addng. An as for differences between the 1SS and 2SS I think there are a substantial amount. Heated power side mirrors, four pack guages, Boston Acoustics sound system, steering wheel audio controls, USB port, leather heated seats, one year OnStar directions and connections plan, and bluetooth. I know some of those are options on the 1SS but im just saying if you had those you would be closer to any of the imrovements done to next years model. IMHO

I think your right if these sells, they will raise all models 3k. Simple economics high demand equals high price. And how many of you wouldnt buy it if they raised it 3k
