Adam's Focus Polshing Pads...

I just ordered the 4 inch focus polishing pad kit from Adamís. Are there any special concerns with the use of the smaller pad? Although I have a drill, I intend to attach the pads to my PC. Is there any higher chance of holograming or burn-through with the smaller pad? Iím pretty comfortable with the large pads. In some of the Adamís videos, specifically the ones with the Corvette, they use the focus pads to clean up some deeper scratches. They then go over the focus pad area with large pads. One of the reasons I want the focus pads is to address trim on the cars and smaller areas on my motorcycle, so how do I go back over the area with a large pad if it wonít fit? Thanks for any input.

Keep the speed at 4 or lower... thats the biggest tip I can give you.

There are going to be some areas where you simply can't get a larger pad in there to go over again, but really that step is only required if you notice any 'buffer trails'. Many times I don't see them.

When working with the drill keep the pad moving and don't polish on any hard edges.

I'd also recommend a drop of loctite on the threads of the adapter, just to be on the safe side.
