LS / LT Seats
Quick question, are the seats in the LS and LT the same? I'm debating between an LS and LT. If I get the LS than it would become a cool project to build her up over time. I'm thinking of getting some cool leather Katzkins, but, want to make sure the actual seat is the same quality. I've sat in a 2LT but not a 1LT or LS.
Thanks in advance. |

No, the seats are different in all 3 V6 models. The LS has the base model seats, the 1LT has "Sport Cloth" seats, and the 2LT has leather seats.

Unless you mean the internals of the seats and not their coverings. I can't answer that. Sorry.

There are pics of the LS seats, and they have subtle stripes on the seating surface, where as the LT cloth "sport" seats are a solid material (in either gray, beige, or black).

Thanks. . . . .really what I was wondering is more the struvture (and not the surface). I want to put Katzkins (think Scoty's got pics up on the front page) so no sense in going leather. but I want to make sure the "structure" of te seat is the same (ie when tey install the Katzkin it will feel like a 2LT leather seat).
Hope I'm making sense |

From their pattern spreadsheet, there is no difference in LS/LT/SS seating surfaces. There might be a slight difference in bolstering material (the amount of it) but I doubt it. I've sat in all 3, from a design and holding standpoint I didn't feel any difference. Some cars cloth vs. leather is night & day - for me, I didn't really feel much in the 5th.
Good luck!
