headers and tune

if i install headers w/ cats do i need to get tuned right away can it wait

also is there a big difference between 1 7/8 and 1 3/4

any info would be appreciated

Get the 1 7/8's and you don't really need to get a tune, BUT if you want to get the full effect of the headers you'll want that tune.

You can expect a much better Horsepower gain if you get those headers tuned. like and extra 10-20hp.

The car will run without a tune but it will not be running the way it should. You will get a check engine light. My advice is to not get headers until you are ready to get a tune and do not get a tune until you are ready to walk away from the drivetrain warranty.
