Report him in Texas. This thing called the Internet is pretty amazing.

Personally I would start a campaign to make it so that anytime someone googles Fastlane that the entire 1st page of results was this story. Not hard to do if you know how.

That actually happened to a friend of mine when I was in the car....long time ago.

He had just had a monster motor installed in his 78 camaro and lit up the back tires at a stop sign....massive burnout then POP, Klunk and scrape.....we left the diff 20 feet behind and drive shaft went rolling to the curb.......I was laughing so hard I almost peed my pants.
...Then I realized we had pound of stinky african thai in the car...so I had to shove it down my pants and run down the street before the cops showed up....college was like that.

I miss college.

OK.......we're waiting for Mr. Lecker to say those 3 magic words from customers........"I AM SATISFIED".....

And you're lucky his name is Lecker and not Lecter, or else by now you'd be stewing in his pot and fertilizer in his backyard.......

Yep..but to own the 1st page of results you need to be on 10 different websites that have the authority to rank well.

The more and more i think about the design flaws the more and more i dont like the kit. Tuning it is a pain because both your o2 sensors are inline on the downpipe so they read the same numbers so idk if one side of the motors leaner than the other or vise versa. And on top of that theres no 02 sensor BEFORE the wastegate so when that opens up and lets the exhaust air out its gonna read leaner numbers because the exhaust is venting into the atmosphere before it can be monitored.

Guys- just for the record we are really trying to address Mr. Lecker's concerns. As far as the review is concerned, I want to remind everyone that it is from one individual, installing our kit for the first time. We are a Customer Service business and we are humans and I freely admit to some shortcomings in the delivery of the kit. So please keep in mind (before trying to generate lawsuits and BBB complaints.)Our BBB record is spotless as is our Legal history

1. This was the first 2010 Camaro Turbo Kit and is still the only one built using ALL Made in the USA components with the BEST turbo manufacturer (Borg Warner)
2. Fastlane Customers won the first 2 Camaro Shootouts (LSX 2009 and C5 Fest)
3. Camaro Now Magazine Covered an install of this kit-favorably.
4. Paul Tracy drove a Fastlane Camaro with the turbo kit and flogged it for 3 days on Battle of the Supercars (although we did get outrun top speed-another story lol)
5. Several of these turbo cars get brutalized at the Texas Mile twice a year

I am guessing that NONE of that matters to the OP.

Just a hunch.

Guys, I wouldn't normally interject into threads that don't pertain to our products but I want to clarify one thing, the crew at Fastlane have always been a class act. I spoke with Nick, who is the owner, specifically about this matter At this point his every intention is to do right by the customer. I've known Nick and crew for years and have seen their operation and attention to detail first hand. Quite a few amazing builds have come out of their shop. My son Lou actually worked there while in school at SAM's and even he knows it not like them to allow for an unhappy customer. They clearly admitted there's something not right but will work to make things right. Let's give them a chance. I know they'll come thru. Thanks.

Nick

I think at this point it would be just better for bb to get his money back and fast lane get their parts back. I'm sure there is more to tHis than we know but sounds like it's time for everyone to just move on. I know nick and fast lane are good guys and BB seems like a good guy too I'm sure both of you guys can just calm down and make it right and move on or nobody is going to win.

My Experience
Fast Lane installed my kit back in 2010 , I have drag raced my Car , I have had many many 40 to 140 contests on the hiways around my house the only car to stay with me was a turbocharged porshe and that was neck and neck. 8 to 9 psi, I have over 28000 miles on my kit 32000 on the car. Not one item has been replaced I ran cats on the kit for 25 K of those miles brought it back to FastLane and the modified that . Runs even stronger now.
The Kit is not an issue here, the person that buys the kit is not happy, when dealing with an aftermarket system we all want everything to go smoothly, often times in life it
doesn,t , The best that you can hope for is the supplier to stand up and make it right , I know that Fast Lane will make it right.
So to all S*&$ Stirrers Put on your big boy panties get your cars running and go have some fun, I know I am Going to get in my Camaro and boil the Heck out of the tires again just because I can.
Whew turbo,s are fun.
The Horse is dead quit beating it..................

The Narrow Bands(02 sensors) need to be on each bank of the engine reading each banks exhaust gas's. This is how the ECM keeps the car as close to stoich as possible while cruising around town and idling and gets you the good fuel economy by constantly making fuel corrections and especially for tuning. The only sensor needed in the down pipe should be the WB02 Sensor for WOT. This is why on our kit we have each narrow band(02sensor) in each header for this reason as close to the engine as possible. We also install the WB02 in the header as well. It is almost impossible for the ECM to make fueling corrections for drivability and tuning for drivability when both the narrowbands(02sensors) are reading the same exhaust gas's. GM has them on each bank for a reason.
