Touch screen with factory controls?

Just wondering where you get this touch screen radio with the factory controls kit? Has anyone seen this anywhere?

That is gm original for the 2013 cars. People are working on a retrofit into older cars.

That would be nice but I bet it will be way overpriced.

That one looks a lot cleaner then all the kits that are out right now. Looks like i will finally be putting nav in my car once these go for sale.

Totally agree. Those Round dials are eyesores IMO.

Also do people really enter stock cars in car shows these days? I mean the ZL1 is cool and all but how or why can this compete as a "stocker" against modded cars??

Wow. That's interesting that it's on a '12. I was not aware that this was an option until '13. Hmmm...

He meant 13. There are no 2012 ZL1 verts

no. The verts start being produced during the 2013 MY. What you saw was probably a CTF vert

I could not find the driver but it might be a 2013 but if you look at the pictures the hood and steering wheel it says ZL1 on them.

The ultimate solution would be an aftermarket kit, that accepts the 2013 OEM bezel. The kit would have have to allow the radio to use the bezel and steering wheel controls, as well as provide some sort of way to change the BCM settings.

This would keep the cost low, and allow people to put a better radio in for less money. However, I doubt any such solution will be produced, as the market would be too small. Most people with the OEM double din bezel will already have a touch screen radio.

Doesn't look like it has the door lock/unlock button, so even if you did retrofit it, you would lose that function.

It's already been confirmed by one of the GM reps, that car is a '13 CTF ZL1 vert.

correct. For 2010 and 2011 camaros you would need to get the 2012+ door pulls that have the lock/unlock button on them.

"Need" is an overstatement. I have never used the unlock button, in over 2 years. It's very difficult to use, because of how the computer locks and unlocks the car, and prevents you from locking the car when the door is open.

Yes I know I have a touch screen and have retained all my factory options but 2 and that's bluetooth streaming and XM. I don't care about either one.

It's not the functionality of the Scosche, Metra, and Alpine kits that turns me off. It's how terrible they look.

How terrible they look..really?? And the mylink system is nice looking. Too each their own I guess. I like the metra kit just fine. It looks factory to me. The car should of came that way imo.
