LOL Good question...I have no idea! I wouldn't have a clue what they would look like. That being said I do know what brake pads look like, so I will go look and see if I see anything out of the ordinary. I will take a couple more pics.

Congratulations on getting your car, Angelina. It's a beauty! I think I'm seeing VIN 8970, and I don't believe the calipers have the weights on them. If those are the front calipers, that a great sign.

Congrats!! Glad your getting some wheel time! Not to change the subject, but....
Sorry about the different colors, but it is on mine too. see:

http://www.camaro5.com/forums/showth...089#post502089

How was your fit and finish? (see above post). And yes mine had the weights on the brakes.

On the front bumper scrapes ... I always use carbon fiber splitters on my cars... especially if you lower it or plan to.. they dont detract from the look of the car, but most certainly save you from scrapes and the dreaded parking hump scrapes.

Here's a link to the ones I use by JSP, Carbon Splitters

Any word on what is being done by GM or the dealers for the mismatched front fascia paint job??

Congrats!

Sorry to say, but the front bumper mismatch is pretty noticeable. Fit and finish on these cars really seems to be lacking at this point. I'm guessing it's because of them rushing production to meet demand?

I have not gotten into it too much yet, have been REALLY busy. Daughter graduating and husband turning 40! Party planning in this house. Not to mention dealer is an hour away, I will be on the phone this week I imagine tho.

Those look like they would help a lot! Altho the scrape I have is at the very front tip of the bumper. On the underside where you can't see it thank goodness. Already got "the talk" from the 'ol man

Thanks.. It will be interesting to hear what GM's response or fix to this issue they will announce if anything at all. I would not want a re-paint by the dealer on the brand new bumper for obvious reasons. Having GM order you a newly painted bumper to be sent to the dealer would be the best scenario and easiest on you since you don't have to be without a car for too long. Wither way, let us know how GM responds as I have on order an IOM Camaro and may be in the same boat your in when it arrives..
