APT ZL1 puts down 740rwhp/751lbft

Aspire Performance finished up my ZL1 today and I expected less power but was surprised by the outcome. I thought I would share my build with my ZL1 brothers here on Camaro5.
I have car #243 and immediately upon taking delivery I went to have it dyno'd to see what it would put down stock so I would have a base number to compare too.
The car made 512rwhp/528lbft. stock for an automatic car, modified it made 740rwhp/751lbft.
Only thing I have left to do to the car is add bigger fuel injectors, currently has 65lb and were running 100% duty cycle at full boost of 14.8lbs.
I also need to put in a CAI which Cooler Logic is fabricating that right now along with the reservoir tank.
So these dyno numbers are on a factory air box. As soon as those three items get added, I'll get it retuned and redyno'd and make a final post about the car.
THEN, I'm going to hit the track. Can't wait!

The car has the following mods:
CNC'd LSA heads and cam by Cooler Logic
Heat exchanger and pump upgrade by Cooler Logic
Headers and X-pipe by American Racing Headers
Ported snout and supercharger manifold by Cooler Logic
Upper and lower pulleys by Metco provided by Cooler Logic
Total build by Aspire Performance
There are also other various small upgrades such as rocker trunnions, push rods, spark plugs, plug wires and the such.

The car was tuned just perfect too. It drives great as far as street ability as well. I've very happy with the car, much happier than the modified ZR1 I had.

I'm going to eventually get a similar build with lethal racing but I doubt it'll be anytime soon. I bet your car sounds like a BEAST!

That's another thing I need to do is get some video of the car at idle and taking off. I'll break out my GoPro cameras and get after it. Will post soon.

Results look great. Just wonder if anybody is going to make new headers that fit the under tray?

Sounds like the stock tune is very conservative, because I find it hard to believe you could achieve such a jump with those mods alone - unless you have a faster spinning pulley?

Went out for another cruise in it today for Father's day with my son. It drives like a dream. Only way I can put it is that's its like it from the factory that way. Great idle, great take off and tremendous power when you put the hammer down.

As far as videos, I'll probably do that tomorrow. I'll bust out all my GoPro cameras and suction cup them to the car. I'll post them here, stay tuned.

Do you still plan to change out the injectors and intake? Heck...with that much power on the street I would leave it alone unless the bug just wont go away.

Can you give any information on the reservoir they are building for you? This is an area I have a lot of concern with since I'm buying the ZL1 for a road race car.

Yes, I have to change out the injectors. It has 65lb in it right now and the duty cycle on them is 100% at max power. So I am getting 80lb injectors installed. The cold air intake that was made for it netted us and extra 32rwhp when we installed it over the factory airbox, without retuning it. I'm getting it coated right now in ceramic black. The reservoir is being made to accept ice if need be it will be coated in a thermal dispersant black coating. I'll post photos up when it's finished. I also ordered a new 90mm throttle body from a LS3, that will give us an extra 13rwhp with out a tune, too. Anything you can do upstream on a FI engine will improve power dramatically.
