You could seal or wax the wheels?

You will need to clean your rims inside and out and I recommend any of these products in cleaning them and getting them ready for the protection your looking for.

CarPro TRIX Tar and Iron Remover

SONAX Wheel Cleaner

P21S Gel Wheel Cleaner

BLACKFIRE Total Eclipse Tire & Wheel Cleaner

Any of these great products will protect your rims and get them ready for ready for the road.

Optimum Opti-Coat 2.0

Optimum Opti-Seal

Ultima Paint Guard Plus

and CarPro Cquartz

Don't forget to use a great brush to clean your rims like the Wheel Woolies or the Daytona Speed Master Wheel Brush

...or just get a can of Adams Quick Sealant and coat them all in 5 minutes. Brake dust will hose right off. Good stuff.

A coating of sealant will go a long ways to keeping them easy to clean, but it won't prevent brake dust buildup unfortunately. Just par for the course with these softer high performance brake pads the OEM's are using.
