When do dealer allocations have to be filled?

I was just wondering when do a dealer's first allocations have to be filled by? If I am 8 of 8 allocations.........what is a good time frame to expect the car? He told me August by the latest, is this a good estimate? He has 4 with vin numbers and the first taking delivery today. He is also the top Corvette dealer in his region if this matters and is not being shut down. Any input is appreciated.

The pre-orders were supposed to be done by the 3rd quarter this year But i would say that it may be a safe bet that you would have it by august.. seems like the production is ramping up

I hope so......so far all of his orders have moved like clockwork.......8 to 12 weeks so far for the ones he has ordered. Same time at 1100, 3000, then produced. Im just glad we have a good dealer. I had another order where the dealer didnt say anything about allocations so we ended up being number 18 for 8 allocations. Got out of there as soon as we placed our new order.

I would think a dealer must have a good line of credit first before he would be able to order any cars, regardless of allotment. Dealers are sitting on huge inventories right now, so dealerships securing credit, is essential prior to any car being ordered from GM.
