I went to the GM Testdrive @ Vaughan Mills this afternoon, and took a couple of pics. Lots of people lots of cars always on the move. You had to drive a "regular car" , as they call it, before you could drive the Camaro or Corvette. They had everything from a Pontiac G5 to Cadi CTS to Pickups & SUV's. At the end they give you a "check out" survey, and present you with either a $10 Gift Card for Petro Canada or Starbucks.

This was my first drive of the Camaro (it was SS/RS) although the track layout was short, you could really feel how the car performed in the straight away and the curves. It really sticks to the ground! I found the hoodscoop a little high & distracting, but that could be a seating adjustment issue. I was only worried about the seating in regards to stretch and not height.

I met up with the GTA group (Canadian Camaro, Black67 & TJ91) @ Vaughan Mills and took a couple of pics...afterall only 2 out of 4 of us have our cars. You can see the test track in the background used for the "GM TEST DRIVE" promotion.

Here's the pic of "TEAM G.T.A.". (new members welcome)
From left to right: BLACK67, TJ91, MYSELF (SQUALO) & CANADIAN CAMARO
Let it be known that although the sun was shining, there was a wind that would go right through ya'.
It was nice to get Black67 out and join the IOM team, now if we can just get those other two IOM's to arrive

Not to jack this thread but look at the pic above of the Black67's car. The paint on the front end is so mismatched from the rest of the car...DOH!

Unlike that BUTTHEAD who showed up, demanding our spots, as if we had half the parking lot taken up.

Yes it is, but I was expecting it, do to the nature of how it all comes together. with Cyber Grey the color changes so much in different lighting.

Definitly a fun meet up, and the drive was great. Gotta love the one tap to pass signal lights, thats one of my favourite features. Just for those who dont know what i am talking about, say your driving and want to change lanes, all you do is tap the signal light colunm, say up to signal right, and the car will signals will automatically blink about 3 or 4 times, cant remember the number. Ive seen this in dodge cars and really wanted this in the Camaro, and well GM pulled it off, its really convienent as opposed to clicking it on and off, or holding it.
P.S i love CGM, very subtle but clean and mean!
P.S.S i love IOM the most though

I really have struggled with the colour. I initially ordered IBM (Imperial Blue Metallic), saw my first picture of it (not a good shot) so I switched to CGM. Then I saw the IBM thread on this site, one with Silver Rally Stripes and figured that was the flavour I was looking for....I promised my salesman I wouldn't change again. Looking at Black67's car (it's a beauty) I'm starting to wonder again. So many decisions (unfortunately too much time :o)

I know how you feel, I was in the same boat, with the ABM (Aqual Blue), some some really nice pics early on. Then saw some others that made the car look dull. When I was placing my order, I tossed back and forth, in my head between ABM & IOM, and at the last second I went with IOM. Sure!, now the really nice ABM pics, of peoples orders, with stripes and all start to surface; but I'm still VERY HAPPY with my selection.
