DOES ANYONE HEAR KNOW IF CHEVY IS PLANNING TO BRING BACK THE IROC NAME FOR THE NEW CAMARO?

I think they will only bring that name back if the International Race of Champions (IROC) decides to use the new Camaro for their race.

god i hope not. like i said in the other post this is based off of a 69 camaro not an 89. you dont wantto bring to many generations of cars into this 1 car or its going to look stupid. as you noticed chevy never did any kind of iroc striping on the gen 4 camaro. (GOOD CHOICE)

gm only had that name becasue they bought the rights to it. just like TRANS AM, they bought the rights to use it for the car and now they no longer have the rights to it.

Ya well man I hope your wrong because I loved the Iroc. Ask anyone the Iroc was one of the best handling Camaro's made and they had good looks.

IROC was a racing series, whoever put out the money to sponsor the series, got the car, they were all the same and prepared the same by the same people...

Ehh, no more Irocs guys, haha, i love them too but GM is focusing on nastalgia right now and Irocs havent quite hit that point yet, also GM was always very disgruntled at how a portion of every sale of Trans Ams went to the Trans Am series, i would imagine the Irocs had the same deal with a portion of every sale going to the Iroc series and i dont see them doing that stuff anymore, im not seeing a new Iroc anywhere in the near or far future of the Camaro

sort of. this car has a lot of cues from the third gens as well as the first gens. it isnt just a flash forward version of a 69, its an amalgamation of all 4 previous generations combined
