Are we talking about safely. At 8-10lbs you will start running out of fuel.

It really does not matter which form of FI. It is a matter of boost and temperature. There are many, many threads on here of people who have pushed the limits of the LS3, both successful and unsuccessful. The weakest link seems to be the ring lands with aggressive boost/tune.

Seriously, it comes down to how risk oriented you are.

Many have pushed double digit boost. Some made it. Some destroyed their engines.

I'm running 15 lbs of boost. But I'm running a triple pump and E85. On a stock motor. But I do have a built motor ready to go in.

Anything over 10 on stock internals is asking for disaster.

With good fuel and tune it will survive but not forever. In a few months something will go poof.

Now if you down the compression and forge you will be able to boost 15+ all day with good fuel and tuning.

Could you not have 'googled' this, or consulted Procharger website?

here let me google it for you.

Ahh.... MAX boost is 32psi.
Now, perhaps a more intelligent question would be
How much boost is 'safe' to run...

Asking the second question is going to cause all sorts of 'opinions'. but in short.

I personally am running just shy of 700 on a LS3 stock block, upgraded cam rockers headers type setup... @ 6.5lbs of boost on a M6.. stock clutch, driveshaft, rear end..... everything..

And that is - WITH the D1SC -.

Make sure you set to 1080p... once you start viewing..

I am sure you are talking 700 engine hp not rear wheel hp right?

I don't believe it. You gained 320hp on 6.5lbs of boost. That's a first.

The only 6.5lbs D1SC 700rwhp camaro has a custom blower cam, CNC ported heads, fast intake and some other work.

With your current mod list I'd say you're around 600.....

Not trying to start a war here but total BS you're at 700 with your mod list...

lol... You are so clueless and act so pompous that it's incredible.

You're probably around 580rwhp is you're lucky.

Half your mods don't even give power.

OP - > I am running 6.5lbs of boost on a procharger D1SC.
Along with cams, rockers, retainers, valvesprings, headers, custom exhaust (headers back) cats are still in place, will be gutted this week (hopefully)

-- My mistake, as well... 664 HP (RWHP)...

So, in short I have 52,000km's on my car, not sure what that turns out to in mileage... but so far im extremely happy..

I change oil every 6000km, and run 6.5 reliable... so far.... upgraded fuel pump.

To the special needs department that seems to chime in on this post.

In short, I am super happy with my mods, I love the sound, the power, and the relability..

BUt hey dont just take my word for it, walk on over to the Canadian section and consult the other 20+ customers on the boards that routinely visit them..

I suspect Chris with the 427 hitting 950 should be commenting soon.

I am proud of my investment, proud of my numbers, and am happy with what I've paid for....

I share my 'experience' and 'knowledge' althought somewhat limited I'll admit.. and I'm met with arrogance, and negativity ---

As such, I shall respond accordingly

Happy Sunday!

Hi.
I have little knowledge on cars.
I'm going to make extremely arrogant and pompous posts and downgrade one of the best Camaro tuners in the United States because my car runs 6.5lbs of boost and has "700rwhp."
I mention rockers, bolts and chromed parts on my mod list. When questioned I insult people.

Do I have it right?

No one cares about your 6.5lbs psi procharger. OP was asking for max boost. Not fairytale numbers.
