Burnouts

How the hell do you do one in the 6 speeds? It just wheel hops once or twice and dies. It's a 2SS

Did you turn off the nannies? You have to hlod the traction control button for about 10 seconds. The traction and stability control lights on the dash will come on.

Ok. I haven't been holding the button. Just pressing it. I'll try again tonight. I never thought I'd have trouble making this thing roast the tires

You don't have to turn stabilitrac off. Just turn off T/C

Push clutch with left foot.
Hold brake with left side of right foot.
Push gas with right side of right foot by rocking foot.
Let off clutch till tires break loose.
Completely let off clutch.
Slide right foot off of brake and onto gas.
Enjoy.

Disable stability and traction control, let out the clutch in first gear than mat it! Superchargers help!

Or don't, and save your tires.

I assumed the wheel hop was causing the stubility control to cut the engine power.

Wait, wait... A Camaro can do a burnout?

Just turn off the traction control (Push the button once and the icon comes up on the speedo (it's a circle with a line through it and the letters "TC" in the middle). Wheel hop=Universal goes "POP"!

It is a little harder when you're not sporting a rear axle out of a horse cart...

Ford invented something for the new Mustang this year; IRS. They're on the cutting edge of technology...

Never had a problem breaking loose when I want to, just rather save these tires for awhile until I decide which new rims I want.

There was a thread last week where people were defending some blue oval a-hole's "right" to be here.

When I see the cute little pony car avatar, I just ignore.

Did my first one with 400 miles on the odometer, broke loose real easy, could have melted them right off. It should be easy to do.

It was reports like this that helped you stang boys get a real engine. You should thank the engineers at GM on a daily basis for bringing the Camaro back out.
