Glass Cleaner

Basically, what does everyone use to clean their windows? I've tried so many different products, but can't get away from the streaks. More so on the inside then the outside. Any good stuff out there?

Water and microfiber cloth.... I NEVER use product on my windows, especially since they are tinted. No streaks EVER.

Glass Cleaner

Ive tried almost everything from sprays to foams and still see streaks in the sun light. Does someone have a product that works?

I use the water and microfiber towel method myself now days, but I remember newspaper being really good for anti-streaking.

^Your using a cloth that has been previously used with products. I write a "W" on mine so i know which ones what. Sadly, i then write an "A" on another to mark as Armor all and so on and so forth. lol.

^ Good idea on marking the microfibers. I probably have 30 of them and keep them seperated for wax, polish, interior products and windows. I've been using Invisible Glass from Stoner products with little streaking, but it does happen on occasion. If it does, little spritz of water and rewipe and your good to go.

Another vote for Stoners. You can pay more for the boutique brands, but this one works as well as any.

Give it a little tappy tap

ITs how you use it, dont need very much product at all.

Also, your cloth matters, even microfiber can leave lint behind.

For interior glass, i usually use NOTHING, just a dry rag and some elbow grease, yields the best results unless you actually spilled something on the glass, its not like the outside that has dirt and bugs.

That being said, optimum glass cleaner works great for when I really need it. Stoners aerosol is good, but theres not much in a can.
Meguiars isnt that bad either.

I also keep all my cloths separated in zip lock bags with labels. Clean wheels, dirty wheels, clean interior, dirty interior, etc

After years of trying stuff, Adams glass gleaner and the towels that come with it is the way to go. Do them, get another towel, do them again, streak free.

You will then search the Internet trying to find the towels to buy cheaper, cause you get hooked on clean windows

Did mine today... used Stoners Invisible Glass.

Also use an 'EZ Windshield Wand' for the inside, helps get right down to the bottom of the windshield.

Don't have to use masses of the product, just a mist on the cloth, wipe, turn it over, wipe again. Job done.

yea, it's tough. typically ammonia is added to window cleaners to prevent streaking. but because ammonia will damage your cars finish, it isn't put in auto glass cleaners.

as others have said, try newspaper.

The best combination I have found is Adams glass cleaner and Adams microfiber glass cleaning towels.
