Radio presets (Yes I tried search)

On past vehicles I have been able to have a full set of presets for each band, ie, 6 for FM, 6 for AM, 6 for XM. On my Camaro I can set up six for XM, for example, but when I switch to FM and set a preset, it replaces the XM setting. So, once again for example, I set XM to channel XXX at button number 1. When I switch bands to FM and put a station on button 1 it replaces the XM preset.
Am I stupid or is 6 total, all you get?

I would check this
To configure the number of available
favorite pages:
1. Press the CONFIG button.
2. Select Radio Settings.
3. Select Radio Favorites.
4. Select the number of available
favorite pages.
5. Press the BACK / button to go
back to the System
Configuration menu.

It's a little different now, you don't have "band presets" per say but "favorites". You can still have multiple selections of "favorites" and they can cross "bands" (XM, FM, AM...) but they don't change when you change bands. You have to change your fav to get it. I honestly can't remember if there is a "fav" button that you can push to do this because I usually just use the steering wheel to cycle between a couple sets of favs.

(AKA if I'm on Fav1 Preset 6 and I push up on the steering wheel I go to Fav2 Preset 1)

Hope that makes sense

Are you having trouble changing to the other lists of favorites? I apologize if I'm being overly pedantic here.

On the far right of my radio there's a button labeled something like "Fav". Push that button to bring up the favorites on the screen. Push it again to bring up the next 6 favorites, and repeat 5 more times to get back to the first list again. If I have a station playing, in any band, that I want to put in my favorites then I just bring up the list and entry where I want to save it. Press and hold the button for that entry for a few seconds and it's set. That's how it works on mine anyway.

Edit: You can put a station from any band in any entry and have 1, 2 or 3 different bands in any list.

The owners manual is a valuable tool.

Some of the owners manual is written in martian

Thinks for the helpful tips above, as for the sarcasm......

On page 7-10 in your owner's manual it states:

Storing and Retrieving Favorites
Stations from all bands can be stored in the favorite lists in any order. Up to six stations can be stored in each favorite page and the number of available favorite pages can be set.

Storing a Station as a Favorite
To store the station to a position in the list, press the corresponding numeric button 1-6 until the station can be heard again.

Retrieving Stations
Press the FAV button to open a favorite page or to switch to another favorite page. Briefly press one of the 1-6 buttons to retrieve the station.

I hope this information was helpful!

yeah you can have preset one as FM, and preset 2 to XM. then it will jump between them as you push it.
