Black ZL1's must have black tail light bezels!!

I just installed the gloss black tail light bezels from RPI designs and they are perfect. The car just looks "right" with them instead of the chrome bezels. I don't have pics but if you are considering them just get them and you will be happy. It is a 5-10 min swap including cleaning the pockets once the old bezels are removed. If your car isn't black, they have all of the other factory colors too. If my car had the polished wheel option, I would have left the stock chrome bezels. Just wanted to let folks know that may be considering the swap to just do it.

+1 on the pics.

I'm curious if black will look good with SIM or if I should get ones to match the factory color

You ought to look at the black onyx stainless CAMARO for the fenders from Emblempros. They are awesome. I am installing them on mine to go with the other paint mods. The Chrome ones on the side just don't go with the black wheels.

Mine fit over the factory gold portion. I would not order them if I were you. I am going to find the whole emblem in black and get rid of these soon.

Looks great! I installed flat black bezels on my Ashen Gray ZL1 and they really cleaned up the look of the car. The gloss black looks great on your black ZL1.

Doesn't need a black car or a ZL1

The blacked out bezels look better period as there is a distinct last of "chrome" anywhere on the car. Especially if you add the rear decklid b/o panel.
