HK/JBL/Infinity Audio questions and opinions!

Hey guys needed some help! Looking to upgrade the audio in my car and I am able to get 20-40% off of all Harman audio and needed some advice on what to get. Mostly listen to rap and metal I know two different styles but I would really like to upgrade so any input on what to get would be great!

All 3 of those brands are good quality.

2 questions:

1. Does your car have the Boston "upgraded" sound system or base system?

2. How much do you want to change/add?

Not quite sure, ill double check on the sound system. But, looking to upgrade all the speakers and if possible add subs. What difference does the Boston or Bose system make?

If you have the Boston system, sub thump sells a harness that makes changing amps simple. They also sell several different sub boxes. I've got both in mine and am very happy.

Your options are still the same. Your install is a tiny bit more involved. Check out our threads, a few of us have upgraded the base audio system.

As for what to get, that's all up to you. Depending on what type of bass you want, how much you want and hoe much trunk space you're willing to lose if you added a sub will determine a lot.

I would probably go with a pair of Infinity Kappa components and 6x9's.
