1SS people: Replacing the interior panels?

As the title states..Is there anybody who has ordered a 1SS that comes with cloth seats and cloth panel inserts interested in changing them down the road.. There is another thread which CamaroScotty created that has a Camaro with custom leather seats that look really nice. However I have not seen a thread which talks about customized panels yet. Is there anybody who knows someone working on them besides Gm accessory parts? If so, are they working on Ambient Lighting to go along with it? Can they be easily replaced in the 1SS?? Simple questions however I don't believe they have been answered yet..

Yeah, I know I'm going to hate those cloth panels on my Black on Black 1SS/RS. Right now, I think I'd go with the Scorch Yellow panels. But, as more become available, there might be something that really grabs me? I do think that whatever color I decide on for the panels, I may incorporate that same color on the engine cover in some capacity as well.

im gonna have to wait to see what it looks like. But i probably wont change it for a while. from what I have seens I dont think I really like how the panels look on either SS the on the 2SS the panels look cheesy with that colored hard plastic. and the 1SS maybe looks cheap

I wish the interior shiny/gloss door panels were leather. Too much plastic in the interior for my taste. I think the leather door panels would have looked much better. I don't think there is much you can do with the panels there since there are airbags behind.

i do think the cloth looks better than whats in the 2SS, that stuff on the 2SS i think will go out of style quick. They would have been better off making the door leather or making the whole door a solid black color.

Cheers to that.
After much thought, Im sticking with the blackish panels that come with it. The yellow is just too yellow and the orange.. too orange!
lol

Whenever I am going to spend money on this upgrade, it better have ambient lighting to go along with it..

I myself am not a big fan of the cloth panel inserts. I think it looks funny on the dash. If the cloth is what's on the 1SS panels then I'll definitely do my own thing & get my own inserts. As for the seats, I'm liking those Katzkins a lot.
