which suspension mod will lower my 1/4 mile?

I'm use to the f body suspension,(sub frame bars, lower control arms relocated, torque arm etc) having said that. i dont know anything about my 2010 2SS/rs suspension wise....
my car is never gonna be autox or anything else but 1/4 mile, about once every two weeks over at SAR.
what parts do need to invest in for a better wight transfer to the rear wheel??
where can i find them?

The main parts for drag racing that I would recommend concentrating on would be the trailing arms (TCA026), outer trailing arm bushings (BK006), toe rods (TR002), rear cradle bushing kit (BK020 & BK030). These parts will all help your 1/4 mile times but I would start off with the trailing arms outer trailing arm bushings since you will probably see the most performance increase from them and they are the easiest to install. These parts help to control the movement in the suspension and rear cradle which really helps get the power to the ground and keep the wheel hop to a minimum.

If there is anything we can do for you or if you have any other questions let us know.

For all out drag performance we've got a couple options... both address issues with the rear suspension of the Camaro. These cars wheel hop while at the drag strip, but there are several things you can do to prevent it:

1. Rear Trailing Arms / Rear Tie Rods. The factory arms and bushings are definitely known to deflect under hard acceleration. We manufacture a rear arm package that is lighter and stronger pairs of arms which also include more performance oriented Polyurethane bushings. The change these will make is really nice, the car will launch harder and with more confidence.

2. Solid Subframe Mounts. The other major piece of the drag race puzzle are making changes to the subframe mounts. The subframe mounts to the chassis through large rubber bushings which allows the entire assembly to shake on hard acceleration. By swapping out the soft rubber factory bushings with a solid mount you will decrease the amount of deflection seen in the rear suspension, and go one step farther in helping the car launch hard off the line.

Take a look at the video below, you can see how much the rear subframe moves relative to the chassis, and exactly how much of a difference our Solid Subframe Mounts make.

We love talking to customers about their suspension goals. Let me know if we can do anything for you! Our number is 1-888-972-2464, or you can reach me personally at jarrett@pfadtracing.com with any questions you have about your Camaro's suspension and how our parts can make your car much more fun than it already is!

My prescription for the 1/4 mile addict:

Rear trailing arms
Toe rods
Rear sway bar
Rear sub frame bushings
Differential bushings
Rear upper control arm bushings

And if you are really serious:

Pfadt Drag coil overs

When I watched the video and paused to look at the time slip.
The time slip has a 1.46 sec 60' on a 12.4 @ 112 mph run. That doesn't add up.
What's even worse is the 1.48 sec 60' on the 15.09 sec run.
So something is seriously wrong with those time slips or the track equipment.

You got me, I wasn't there. Pfadt Drag coil overs are the ultimate upgrade for the dedicated drag racer. They were designed from the ground up as a no compromise solution with custom valving and spring rates to reduce wheel hop on launch and hard shifts and to maximize weight transfer to the rear at launch.

At that point you will definitely need some suspension upgrades. Good luck and if you have any questions feel free to shoot me a PM or give us a call. That is what we are here for.
