Pricing is going to be the same everywhere but not everyone actually has them. Be sure you verify that who ever you are considering actually has them in stock and ready to ship. We have been getting a lot of orders from people who order elsewhere first and after a couple of weeks waiting canceled and went hunting.

Sorry forgot that. I bought the Cold Air Inductions CAI. $399 no tax, free shipping, promised in stock.
I looked around some, did not find a better deal, plus a site sponsor took the time to PM me, an indication of good service in my book.
My hope is to get it by Friday so I can install it next weekend.

Followed your lead Henry G. and just ordered a CAI intake from Apex-speed. Looking forward to getting it and installing it this week. Same price and free shipping. Went on CAI's web site and with the forum discount it was cheaper but add the shipping and it made it more than what Apex-speed is selling with their free shipping.

Haven't investigated that yet.

Wasn't even planning on getting a cold air intake. Was going to get an exhaust system first but haven't gotten emails and p.m.'s from site sponsors and sellers yet so i went with the CAI.

I've read posts on the plus and minus of getting a catch can. Some swear by them and some say they are a waste of time and money. I probably will get one for the "just in case" or "better to be safe than sorry".

Not a performance gain per se, but after seeing the oil puked into the intakes of others engines Ive decided its necessary. Now I'm paranoid about going to redline knowing I could be doing just that. Im at 7k miles, the engine is breaking in nicely, with exhaust installed and CAI on the way I want to drive this car like I want to without filling the intake with oil. I believe Chevy would have installed one, but made an economic decision not to, so this is an item that I think is important at least for peace of mind.

I agree, I mean they are only $139.00 plus $39.00 for the breather (which I think is worth it)

What is the purpose of the breather?

EDIT:
Nevermind...someone answered on another thread by giving me this link.

Agreed. That's the one I bought. Very simple to install and looks/sounds/performs great. I got mine through the Juiced C5 member offer - something I recommend to anyone who wil be installing MRT axlebacks and CAI, Inc induction. Contact Juiced for details.

Thanks to you both for your orders. We are in the process of adding the RX product line so if we can help you with those catch cans feel free to hit us up for those as well.

Ordered my CAI kit from Apex as suggested by some on here...WOW. Apex has tremendous customer service and really good prices. I've shopped around, and they have what we're looking for in stock, unlike others. Free shipping with my CAI kit and in got it in 2 business days Very happy, and would highly recommend. Added a few more things to wishlist with Apex.

Installed by new CAI kit in under 30 mins. Fit and finish are amazing. Love the new sound, and the car looks PIMPED.

BTW, noticed an improvement in acceleration, from 1st to 3rd gear (Auto). So defenitely the CAI kit did give me punch off the line. And yes, there's a nice growl especially in 2000-3000 rpm range.

COLD AIR INDUCTIONS kit is it, folks! Thanks to all who suggested the CAI units, and APEX has plenty in stock and quicl shipping, too.
