Does the open exhaust add more power?

I have the exhaust commander and I took off with it open and closed. I can feel a significant difference in power (and sound of course). Did anyone put it on the dyno - I'm very curious. I'm sure the open exhaust allows more power.
Thanks

I don't see how it could add any hp above 50% throttle. The valves open around 3k, so either way its open without the exhaust commander. I've got one on my car too.

I agree. I was talking below 3000rpm when the stock exhaust setup is closed. I can feel a big difference taking off from 0mph.
thanks
