AAC Oracle Halos

I am about to order these but I had a couple of questions before I do. First, I was quoted $285 for the install. Is that good? Also will they void any parts of the warranty? I was going to get the red/white ones because I think it would look awesome behind the t-rex phantom grille I have. Any suggestions?

Thanks

285 is pretty cheap. depending on your wiring it will void your headlight warranty and electrical system depending if it is tied in to it

I would suggest getting the color shift 2.0 instead of the dual color.

Let's say the dual color has 30 LEDs in total. 15 will be red whereas the other 15 will be white. If you want red to be on, the 15 red ones will turn on, causing a dotted look.

Let's say the color shift 2.0 has 30 LEDs as well. All 30 change color. So if you want red, all 30 turn red. If you want white, all 30 turn white. If you want blue, all 30 turn blue. Get where I'm getting at?

I see what your saying, but it will void my electrical warranty? Isn't that a big deal?

it technically shouldn't void the warranty. they have to prove that the lighting caused the malfunction in order to void your warranty.

285 is a fair price for install.

should you ever want to read up on warranty and aftermarket products:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Magnuso...s_Warranty_Act

here's a sema link to it about car aftermarket parts

Good price on labor....

Get the colorSHIFTs up front.

I can't tell you how many upgrades to CS 2.0s Ive done in the last 6 months. It's a way nicer product, controller and does a heck of a lot more.

And it's on sale too.

JDP sells the single RGB LED kit, but it's still not going to be as bright, have a lifetime warranty or change to all the colors the CS 2.0 will.
