Gauge Ideas?
I'm curious if anybody has installed aftermarket gauges. The "four pack" down on the console just doesn't cut it for me. They look cool and everything but they are too far from the line of sight when driving. So I don't check the the gauges that much when I'm crusing but, I do keep an eye on them when I'm getting on it and the four pack really takes you eyes off the road too long when things are moving quick.
If anyone has installed aftermarket gauges please post some pictures or suggestions. I need some ideas. |

Thanks guys but, that's not what I had in mind. I mean real gauges mounted in a place where you can see them witnout taking your eyes completely off the road. Hell, I got an iPad mounted on my dash for gps and crap but when it's time for courvy crazy mountain road trashing all that hardware bling gets tucked away somewhere safe to avoid getting smaked with flying dibris.

This is where the HUD would have been nice for our early cars.
What info are you talking about? Oil pressure and tranny temp and such like on the 4 pack? I'm doing the A Pillar gauge set for AFR and Boost. |

I see your pod, what's on it an does it interfere with the airbag deployent? I want to monitor eng temp, oil, temp. oil pressure, trans temp and maybe a wide band AFR at some point.

Does anyone make a gauge pod that fits the dash, above the radio and vents? It seems like a natural place for gauges.
