2012 OnStar Remote link

I have downloaded the OnStar Remotelink on my IPod and like it. You can keep track of fuel mileage current and lifetime, Fuel level and range, oil life, tire pressure, remote lock and unlock, you can remote start if your car has that option, you can even do navigation.

Have you tried it yet and what do you think of it?

I love it. I can start the car from even further away, and if I *think* I forgot to lock my doors, I can lock them from wherever I'm at.

I also love that you can use the Navigation app to send the directions to your car - even when the car is off. Love this app!

Same here, we use it on our '11. My wifes last two vehicles had touchscreen nav in the dash. Obviously the Camaro doens't. BUT she has quickly adapted using to the app on her iphone, looking up a place/location and sending the directions to the vehicle. It only takes seconds and have been quite useful. Very satisfied.

I was using it on my 11 with iPhone, changed to a new phone (android) and the new phone is not supported yet. The phone is a Sony Xperia Ion it has only been ou a week, so I am hoping for support soon because it is a great app.

I love it! Living in Phx AZ which is basically the same as the face of the sun in the summer time, I start my car from the 4th floor of the building where I work. I get to my car and the cab is cooling off. I use it all the time!!

It's helpful, but it's entirely too slow and laggy and sluggish to have any practical use. 5 minutes to send the signal to my car to start/stop the engine, about the same for downloading statistics, etc.

Yes this app is pretty cool, especially if you lock your keys in your car

Sounds more like a problem with your Internet connection, mine never takes more than 30 seconds unless they or I am having Internet problems. Most of the time if it takes more than a minute I will get an error message to try again.
