XO Miami 20" deep concave 5 spokes - Fast Turnaround!

Who would have guessed it would be so hard to find aftermarket wheels for a Camaro SS? Thank goodness I came back to the Camaro5 forum and found Mike@BestWheelDeals! I’ll give you my brief story in case others are out there searching, and then the pictures!

I started looking for 5 spoke matte black or dark grey wheels for my car the day after I brought it home. My first purchase failed due to wrong fitment, of course the on-line seller would argue the fitment was a perfect fit…with the spacers they sent . I don’t believe the dealer is a forum sponsor and I won’t be dealing with them anymore. I learned quickly “will they fit my car?” is not the right question…”will they fit my car w/out spacers?” Guaranteed filament apparently means nothing!

I came back to the Camaro5 forum and I was starting to understand why custom forgestars were so popular…they fit. But I still couldn’t get over the 8+ week wait, so I went back to the internet based wheel dealers…

I bought another set of wheels…I asked the right question this time and got the guarantee in writing and would you believe it…they didn’t fit again. They quickly apologized and refunded my money unlike the prior vendor (CARID – moderator feel free to scratch the name if inappropriate…still find it hard to believe guaranteed filament is an acceptable statement when spacers are required and not disclosed).

5 weeks in I came back to Camaro5…I had no faith in the general internet based wheel sites, they clearly did not have an appreciation for the Camaro SS oversized Brembo brake calipers. I was about to suck it up, and put my order in for Forgestars, when my search turned up the XO Miami deep concave available from BestWheelDeals, but they didn’t have my color. I PM’d Mike and he told me he had the wheels in stock and could turn around a custom powder coat and shipping in 2 weeks. So I went for it, and the 3rd time worked out like a charm! I love them!

One of my biggest lessons learned is to deal with the vendors on Camaro5. These guys know Camaros and all the oddities that the broader population isn’t aware…All most all of my upgrades have come from Camaro5 vendors and I plan to keep it that way…

Pictures…I ended up w/XO Miami 20x10 on all fours. The fronts are +28 offset and the rears +38…I love the fit. I moved my stock Pirelli’s (275/40) from the rear to the front. Then added Nitto Invos 315/35 on the rear.

I have to start with my updated profile pic of Black Widow on Black Widow:

Angles to see the deep concave:

Yes they do. But these fit. 20" Vossen require spacers.

And they fit (w/out spacers)! I canceled my cv3 when I found out they required spacers.

Looks great! How much clearance do you have front and back from the inside of the wheel/tire? Do you have a pic straight down the side from the back so I can see how far they stick out?

I don't have a pic, and she is currently out of commision getting a rebuilt motor (hope to be back up soon). The Tires do not stick outside the fenders in the middle of the tire, the rears quickly go outside the fender as it curves down. I have 1" BMR drop springs (not pictured above) and haven't had any clearance issues.
