NASCAR Racing at Daytona International Speedway

Just out of curiosity are any members here going to the NASCAR races this coming weekend (July 6th and 7th) at Daytona International Speedway? I live in Ormond Beach and have been going to the races for a few years now. I will be staying with some friends at a hotel in Deltona and parking in the main Lot 7. Let me know if any member are going would be cool to meetup!

Lot 1 is disabled parking, by the pedestrian bridge. We are sitting in the Sprint Tower seats, section F - row 37 ...

If I decide to go see the night race on sat. night.
Is their anything I should know before I get there?
Been to Bristol, but not Daytona yet.Staying here for a couple of weeks, and sat.is our wedding anniversary. She's a fan so maybe it will cover as a gift this year .lol...
To get a decent parking spot,I'm guessing getting there in the morning an staying there during the day is the best way to go?
Thanks in advance.

Get there as early as you can, and drink plenty of water and don't forget the sun screen. This is part of our 25th Anniversary gift to each other ...

No problem ... The race was awesome, and one of the best finishes I've seen in a while.

I just saw this thread, don't go into the Florida regional forum often! I was there too...........paid $40 to park in a lot across from the museum. Although I love my Camaro, I'm a Roush Racing and Matt Kenseth fan, so the finish was not to my liking. I've been to Daytona several times, but not to a NASCAR race there. Had a good time and enjoyed the facility! We'll probably be back for another one...........
