Car is in the shop :(

Well yesterday i was driving around and noticed a burnt coolant smell and sure enough my radiator is leaking. Took it to the dealer and they said it was cracked. I got 26k miles on it and my 3 year 36k expires this 28th so I got lucky. There going to put in a new radiator and also they are going to replace oil cooler lines due to it leaking also so I'm keeping my fingers crossed that it fixes it with out having to replace it. I personally don't think it will. They then said they would run Dye in it to check it out also I noticed oil around my starter but they didn't say anything about that when they called me back

Fuel pumps are part of it. I got my daughters fuel pump replaced for free via the 5 year 100000 mile power train warranty. It may cover radiators also.

Car Was in the shop for only one day they got the radiator replaced and new gaskets on oil cooler along with oil lines going into the cooler. Work was Very clean and put back right where it should of been.I drove around town hard here in Vegas and put a 100 miles on it to check everything out So far so good oil cooler has no leaks. They also ran dye through it to make sure of no other leaks. I'll be keeping a eye out

It always feels good when work on your car is done right the first time.

Sometimes the service guys get all of the grief and none of the glory. I try to call and thank the guy who did the work when it all goes well. I don't think they get good news all that often.

People just remember to complain when something goes bad.

Just a thought.
