My 14 SIM 1SS/RS

UPDATE 8/23/2016:
Pretty much everything I have done hp wise will be coming out and being replaced by an AGP TT kit. I plan on running the 54/57 turbos, 850 injectors, ZL1 fuel pump w/ MSD BAP, and methanol injection. My goals for right now are around 600 rwhp. I want to keep it on the safe and easier side for the stock drivetrain which will all be next on the long list of upgrades. After the rest of the car is ready for major power its time to turn up the boost. I am going to wait until winter to start pulling things apart and doing the install.

Mods as of 7/24/2016:

425rwhp/418rwtq on a dyno jet
CAI intake
Elite catch can
Stainless Works Stainless Power 1 7/8" long tubes w/ HFC
Tuned by Late Model Throttle Waukesha, WI
1" Hotchkis lowering springs
GM strut tower brace
Z/28 style spoiler
ZL1 replica wheels
3-way toggle switch for NPP

Purchased 5/3/2014
I figured it was time to start a build thread. It will be slow going but I'll get there. This is my first Camaro and first "new" car. I've wanted a 5th gen since they first came out and I was finally able to get one.
She is a 2014 SIM 1SS/RS with the only other options being the short throw shifter and NPP exhaust.

Here is a pic of her at the dealership before I took her home and how she looks today.

Then the modding began. I'll be keeping the mods pretty minor for now with dreams for the future. Mods to date are CAI intake, plasti-dipped badges, and black hood spears that I cut.

Looking good!

I especially like the hood spears. Really gives it a 3D look. Nice job.

Added a center stripe on the hood, plastidipped the chrome rs strip, and added a gm strut tower brace.

Coming this week are a set of factory reproductions zl1 replica wheels in matte black, elite catch can, skip shift eliminator, and some black gill stripes.

Congrats on the purchase and mods to date. Time for some performance mods. Get a VRam ported throttle body, ARH LT headers w/HF cats and a tune and your Permagrin will expand several fold.

Thanks. Throttle body and hf cats may be in the near future but I'm not sure about headers yet. Trying to make the warranty last as long as I can handle.

Got my wheels on this weekend. They are Factory Reproductoins style 41 20x9 up front and 20x10 in back on stock p-zeros. I also installed an Elite Engineering catch can and removed my front plate. We will see how long it takes before I get pulled over(if at all) and have to put it back on. Looks so much better without it. Next purchase will be a better camera to take better pictures with.

I'm thinking its time for an update. Quite a bit has changed since last posting. I've added Solo high flow cats, a custom tune from Dynosteve at RDP, and 1" hotchkis lowering springs(also from RDP). On the outside, I got my windows tinted, smoked taillights and side markers, and Z/28 style spoiler(matte black). I also changed up the graphics on my hood. I removed the center stripe. The hood vent was hidden by the strip and I think it stands out better without it. I also changed the vinyl for the spears from gloss black to matte black and extended them slightly onto the front fascia. Its nice having a buddy with a vinyl cutter.

Finally got around to getting a video clip with my new headers. They are Stainless power headers with high flow cats going through NPP exhaust. My phone fell while recording but there isn't much to see. This first part is with the flaps open and the end is with the flaps closed. I love the sound. Its mellow while cruising but gets angry when you get on it.

Dyno tune

I took the car to Late Model Throttle in Waukesha, WI for a dyno tune. The car did have an email tune from Dynosteve at RDP but there was a small part of me that wanted a dyno tune for piece of mind. Props to Dynosteve because his tune was pretty close to spot on.

Car ended up making 425rwhp/418rwtq.
