Dang my Lindsey doesn't stand a chance anymor great build man shes come along way real fast. Ordering a whipple today but I still got a lot of catching up to do. U r still keeping the center exit look right

Some more parts headed my way today; Single Stage Nitrous from Nitrous Express, OD Cogs, and a 10 rib drive from LPE with 6% overdrive. That much closer to being done

Hoping that the new rule means that the roll bar is a no go, but we will see. I bet you're hoping too! Supposedly, it sounds like we will be ok, but a bar will be in order if needed.

FYI: Qoute from CCOTR facebook page last week - I'm keeping fingers crossed, but not sounding good from 1st talk with John Bandimere III

I spoke with Bandimere Speedway today and they too have questions. January 12th there is a meeting they are attending to clarify things - until then, it's anybody's guess. I would think from a safety aspect, the body itself and all the airbags intact would be the issue along with OEM front tie rods. I posed the question about aftermarket superchargers ahead of time. Camaro SS models can be ordered with a supercharger (SLP, Callaway, Lingenfelter, Berger, etc. etc.), or you can buy the exact same supercharger and have a dealer install it. One question posed was "can the wheels and/or tires be different"...... not a good sign of progress. I've got stronger suspension, wheels, better braking, etc than a ZL1 - so you would think that would matter (maybe not). On the other hand, totally stock at Mile-Hi elevation and nothing whatsoever changed including tires on the powerful ZL1..... below 11.5 might be a mute point and just a feel good NHRA rule. Cross your fingers everyone!

No kidding! I feel that a 10 second 5th gen sans roll bar is way safer than a 10 second fox body with a roll bar. But who knows, the NHRA can be finicky.
