But seriously, someone tell me why this one is such a big deal.
I say again...

And please, dont get on why I dont like the wheels because the car in my sig has similar wheels. I KNOW! All I'm asking is what is the big freakin' deal about this Dusk edition.

I'm not a fan of the Mojave interior. This special edition is probably one way to pay for this color of interior. I'm not sure how many people actually ordered Mojave on their own.

It's a real shame how the car industry has a whole has limited interior choices versus the 60s and 70s. I sure hope a red interior is out by the time the Z/28 makes an appearance. I'd have my in black with red stripes and interior just like my '80.

Wow ok... Uh from what the concept car had was the special paint color called "berlin blue", the car was lowered, obviously the 21" wheels (:p), painted calipers , a front splitter, rocker panel extenders, and a different rear diffuser (different exhaust housings), the "Sedona" interior color with yellow stitching I also read that it had wifi connectivity, and a iPhone cradle built in The interior plastic was finished in jet black, and the car had led footwell lighting, the fog light bezels (as shown earlier) ^ were finished to match the wheels, exhaust, and tail light bezels (opposed to being the standard chrome)

The car was described to have "international flair" when it's press release came out
(this was the concept car) any other questions?

There's actually a lot more underneath this car then I had originally thought the car looks simple but it's not there's a bunch of subtle details, like you said it looks as if the color was the onlything different, I think that aspect of the car is pretty cool

I remember the original concept. It was a V6 marketed towards "young urban professionals." Its a cool trim package. I wonder if the 2LT will get a splitter as well?

We have been screaming for a lighter blue for 2 years and GM refuses to give it to us. I don't get it.

Not sure if i like it now. I need to see it on a camaro.
I completely disagree. Did you see it in full sun, indoors, cloud cover??

We were considering an IBM a couple months ago when the BRM paint chips came in. Dealer called us and we went over and compared the chip directly to the IBM Camaro on the lot. It was just a hint darker.

We then saw the BRM Vette at the Indy 500. It was clearly blue, very much like IBM, and I stood and stared at it at various angles forever. I'll find my post about it and bring it over here.

We saw the BRM corvette at the Indy 500, and it looks just like the pix of the Dusk Edition color. We loved the color. The first side I saw was in the shade, and it looked flat black. Other side of the Vette was in full sun. It was clearly blue, not black or grey/silver as some have said. As we wandered to other cars nearby, I kept glancing back at the BRM, and the color would shift at different angles, sunlight levels, etc.
My take on BRM in person

Small disclaimer: I'm one of those freaks with 20/10 vision so perhaps it's just my laser vision

Thanks for posting, THR!

The timing couldn't be better! Hubby & I were at dinner Tuesday and he wanted to go ahead and order. This will be MY car, so I was telling him I was still kinda waiting to see if any special editions w/b released, like the Dusk Edition! Lol. I was planning on ordering a BRM, Mojave, 2SS convertible, RS, with Nav, so I knew it wasn't a rush to order. I'm all over this though!

Funny thing. I'd been wishing they offered a top in blue to go w the BRM. GM, you made my day!

Def will be ordering this, Just left Becky a vm!

(while I like the looks of this, I vote with everybody else for a brighter blue option)

For the record, I'm a woman and I like it.

I was refering to interior bezels. Its a matter of opinion, but I find the silver paint GM uses inside the Camaro looks like a rattle can, pep boys special silver hue.

Heres the Dusk interior bezels I was referring to. The finish is matte chrome, which is a plated finish that looks like a brushed stainless or aluminum.

We have a 2013 Corvette here in that color, there is a lot of pearl in it, so it shifts a little depending on lighting, in full sun it really sparkles.

And what was the big deal with ANY of the special editions? Nothing. It's simply another option for those that are interested. If you don't like it, move on. No big deal either way.

The color is available on any model. It's simply on hold until August.

Matching arm rests and stitching on center console/shifter.

This is no different than the IOM interior.

The dash will also have the beige on the soft touch area so the interior should really pop.

Dusk Ordering

I tried to go into my local dealer today and order a Dusk Camaro but the system would not push it through. Said they would have to get with their rep Monday and try and work it. I did notice this site was updated the other day with the new DUSK options.
